Space to Breathe, Grow and Belong

Morning mists fade across the paddocks. Days unfold by the sun: collecting eggs, pottering in the garden, working with a view, walking among gum trees. Come evening, the sky fills with stars and quiet again wraps around the homestead.

At Little Plains, life slows not because time is lost, but because living deepens.

Set within the Hilltops Region, Boorowa offers excellent schools, a vibrant community, local markets, artisan producers, and all the essentials of small-town living. It’s a place where neighbours wave, weekends are spent outdoors, and life feels genuinely good again.

When you choose Little Plains, you’re not leaving services behind — you’re choosing community with the essentials built in.

Live Differently. Learn Deeply. Reconnect.

Imagine waking to birdsong and wide open skies. The Tree Change Project at Little Plains Homestead offers one family or individual the chance to experience life on the land — not as a guest, but as part of it.

Set beside Hanaminno, the biodynamic farm of regenerative farmer Charlie Arnott, this initiative invites participants to explore a slower, more grounded way of living. Over twelve months (or longer, should you wish to stay), you’ll enjoy informal “walk-and-talk” mentoring sessions with Charlie, join seasonal workshops in biodynamics or small-scale growing, and start your own home garden with support from our team.

There are opportunities to enjoy farm-to-table meals, meet local producers, and even learn the basics of beekeeping or composting. It’s not a program or a retreat — it’s a living, breathing experiment in what happens when we reconnect with land, community, and ourselves.
