Loved staying at this property. Charlie and Angelica were great hosts and quick to respond to questions. Lovely to have fresh homemade loaf and jam, a nice card and bottle of wine waiting for us at check in. Very picturesque property. You feel right at home from the moment you walk in. What an absolute delight staying at Charlie’s gorgeous homestead! By far the prettiest location we’ve ever stayed – it was so peaceful, with amazing views of the sun setting over the paddocks and dam. We spent 3 nights with friends and our kids toasting marshmallows around the fire, playing soccer in the yard, having BBQ’s and movie nights. There was plenty of space for 8 of us, and Charlie was incredibly generous with linen, towels, wine and eggs on arrival.

The house is truly stunning with a wrap-around verandah and generous indoor living. We literally followed the sun around the house with morning coffees and afternoon drinks, listening to the birds. Boorowa is a 15min drive in to town, and we managed to spend 4 hours at the local markets, playground and local services club for lunch.

We’d definitely love to go back – highly recommended!!

Our party of 12 (plus two fur babies) had an amazing time at the Little Plains homestead near Boorowa.

We couldn’t have asked for more from our stay: the kind of peace and quiet you only get in the country; a combustion fireplace that kept the house toasty warm; an outdoor fire pit and bbq to tempt us to star gaze on even the chilliest of evenings; two elegantly appointed bathrooms, both with deep baths made for soaking in; five stylish bedrooms with comfy mattresses and doonas that entice you to linger; and gracious hosts (who thoughtfully even left us brekkie provisions – and a bottle of local wine!)

A country stay that our extended family will cherish forever.

Our family was craving a country getaway and Little Plains was the perfect choice.

The home is stunning – beautifully furnished and styled, clean, cosy and warm. The winter days were chilly and we loved having the fire on, playing cards, reading books, and enjoying a slower pace. Marshmallows on the outside fire were a treat at night under the stars. We also headed into Boorowa for a counter meal and a bakery treat. Charlie was responsive and thoughtful – putting on the fire before we got there and providing a great bottle of local wine and fresh bacon from the farm. Adults, toddler and dogs all loved our stay and would go back any time.
